I’m thankful for my mother
And the ones who gave me joy

His strength that helps endure
I’m thankful for the little things
The laughter through the years
The sights of beauty in all things
The sounds of God so near
I’m thankful for the many times
My soul cried out to you
And when I went inside myself
Your love’s what pulled me through
I’m thankful for my brothers
The ones who make me grin
The sisters bound in soul connect
Who show me how to win
I’m thankful for the gift of life
It’s ups, it’s downs, so real
A chance for illusion to heal my soul
To learn, to grow, to feel
I’m thankful for my children
For they are a gift a love
United in this existence
From the blueprint we made above
I’m thankful for the gifts of sight
