It seems as if we hang around
Just waiting for love and light
It's always there behind the scenes
In balance both day and night

To let our soul join divinity
Healing us if we but dare

The ultimate surprise
That all is for our joyous life
A bounty beyond our eyes
A whiff of hope, the scent so sweet
A well placed loving touch
A kiss of wonder of what could be
The laughter, the fun and such
The beauty of a mountain sky
The wind and earth and trees
A horse's whinny and playful dance
Of hair blowing in the breeze
The eyes as windows so soft and warm
The heart that calls for peace
The ever knowing of abiding love
And sadness sings its release
Where God sneaks in to guide the path
Where angels and loved ones align
Where love speaks loud in unbroken stance
Only oneness; no longer yours or mine
The journey filled with ups and downs
By choices that we have made
A letting go brings love to light
